Packing with a baby is hard work!!! Every trip I have gone on with Carter so far I forget something big. My second trip back home to Cali I forgot basically all my clothes and underwater... I am not sure how, but when I got there I had about four shirts and no underwear to last me 16 days.
I am leaving on Wednesday to California and I am determined to do much better with packing this time. The good news is I am fitting back into my old clothes, so my wardrobe options have opened up tremendously. I am going to make myself a list this time of all that I need and I am hoping it will help my brain work.
I have made a new discovery!
Well now that my clothes are fitting I have been wearing my pants from before pregnancy. I am here to say that I am no longer a low rise pants type of girl. Oh my gosh...how did I wear my pants so low. When you're a mother to a baby you spend more time crawling and bending over then you do standing up straight. Bending over all the time is not such a pretty site in low rise pants. So, I have upgraded to mid rise pants!
I will be in California until November 4th. Happy Halloween and I am looking forward to the month of Thanks!!!

Ahh so much has happened since I wrote last!
Well on October 10th it was my parents 25th wedding anniversary. They came out to Mass from California for it. Jeremy and I have been preparing to go to the temple since January and we wanted to be sealed in the Boston temple on my parents wedding anniversary. We are LDS and in our church we believe that families can be together forever.
My dad knew that we were going to be sealed, but it was a surprise to my mom. They arrived the night before the tenth and I presented my mom with a homemade card. On the front was a hand drawn picture of the temple, with words to a primary song "I Love to See the Temple". On the inside it said " We will be sealed tomorrow on 10-10-12 in the Boston Temple for time and all Eternity" My mother was overjoyed and began to cry immediately.
Being sealed was the most amazing experience. The sealing is a very quick ceremony, but one I will never forget. As I knelt upon the alter and looked across at my husband Jeremy kneeling on the other side I held his hand and looked into his Eyes. I thought to myself how much I loved him and how he is the only one for me and how grateful I was to be with him making eternal vows. During the sealing they brought our son Carter in and put his precious hand on top of ours. This moment was so short but, I can say that it was the best moment of my life. I am so grateful for our church and the blessings that we have received.

I made a goal to start a blog by the time Carter was 6 months old. So now that our sweet little Carter is 6 months I knew it was time to start.
The day before Carter turned 6 months I put away his co-sleep that was attached to our bed. I did have to shed a few tears knowing that my baby was growing and no longer needed to sleep by me at night. On the other hand I was thrilled to have my room back to just Jeremy and I. Our room looks 1000% better without the co-sleeper in it.
Carter has been getting into everything and it thrills me to just sit by him and watch what he gets into. He is so curious and I find so much joy in watching him discover the world.
Jeremy is working this weekend so I am bringing Carter with me to see Women's General Conference Broadcast tonight. I have so much to do before then, so I better go.
